As well as being barbaric, cruel and harmful to animals, factory farming contributes to climate destruction and is damaging to the environment and human health. It risks breeding new antibiotic-resistant infections and incubating new life-threatening diseases that could cross over into the human population and trigger a new pandemic. Factory farms are dangerous, inhumane and must be closed down.”
